Sean A. Black regularly handles criminal cases throughout the Northern Judicial Circuit of the State of Georgia.

In that circuit, he handles felony and misdemeanor criminal offenses as well as domestic relations actions.

The Mountain Judicial Circuit consists of Franklin County, Hart County, Elbert County, Madison County, and Oglethorpe County in the State of Georgia.  The Superior Court is the court of general jurisdiction throughout the circuit.

There is only one State Court in the circuit; that is the State Court of Elbert County.  The State Court of Elbert County handles misdemeanor and traffic cases in Elbert County as well as civil cases which do not directly involve domestic relations issues or injunctive relief.

There are a number of municipal courts in the three counties including:  City Court of Lavonia, City Court of Canon, City Court of Royston, City Court of Hartwell, City Court of Danielsville, City Court of Colbert, City Court of Comer, and the City Court of Elberton.

These courts handle traffic and certain minor misdemeanor offenses and city ordinance violations which occur within the municipal jurisdictions.
